Artist's Comments

My first deviation. Well what can I say? It's not incredibly original or complicated, but for a first go at photography i'm proud of it.
As far as manipulation is concerned, all I did to the photo was make the backround more vibrant in making the green bit, well greener (you can tell im new to this). The flower and the bee remain as untouched as possible, their true colour needed no enhancement.

well you put it up at last ;p it should have been a deviation to start with dammit! as i said on the scrap version, the colours in this are just amazing, and you've captured it perfectly, its amazing how delicate a creature can be.

and the colours of the flower and the bee go so well together, im actually gonna give it a favourite i think :+fav: not out of being a friend or patronising you cause its your 1st dev ;p but seriously, its great! nice job  tom

Wow this is beautiful. How did you get so close without the bee moving? Also, your photomanipulation is top notch; subtle but effective... x

Well the camera was on the hilariously named "Super Macro Mode" so it was a fixed zoom. But the function gives a focus that allows you to take closeups really easily. I still had to model the Bee, hahaha.

"Ooh thats it baby, work it, oh yeah, show me those eyes"
